REGISTRATION WAIVER, RELEASE AND DISCLAIMER

Waiver, Release and Disclaimer: The undersigned hereby waives and releases any and all claims, suits, causes of action, legal proceedings of any and every nature and hereby agree(s) to forgo the pursuit of same including any and all claims for damages, monies, compensation, death, injuries, loss, malfeasance, misfeasance, wrongs, torts or recovery of any and every character or nomenclature. The undersigned further agree(s) to indemnify and hold harmless any and every event organizer, producer, promoter, sponsor, official and/or their respective heirs, successors, assigns, employees and agents of and from any and all judgments, claims, suits, lawsuits, causes of action and/or other actions at law or equity.  The undersigned further acknowledge(s) that his/her participation in this event is voluntary and that he/she does fully and knowingly accept the risk(s) inherently involved in such activities. By signing below, I further acknowledge(s) that I have consulted with my physician regarding my physical capability to participate in this event and am following my physician’s advice. I assume any and all other risks associated with participating in this event including but not limited to falls, contact with other volunteers and/or participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, cold wind, snow, rain, or ice and the conditions of the roads, parking lots, and other venues utilized by the event, all such risks being known and appreciated by me.  I understand that I am solely responsible for my own safety while traveling to and from or participating in this event. Knowing these facts and in consideration of accepting my entry, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf covenant not to sue, and waive, release and discharge the University of Kansas Hospital, Window Works of Kansas City, Hadel & Associates, Ride for Burned Children® Motorcycle Event, the City of Overland Park, Kansas, the Overland Park Police Department, the City of Louisburg, Kansas, the Louisburg Police Department, The City of Spring Hill, The City of Lenexa any and every sponsor or contributor to this event, or any race officials of liability for death, personal injury or property damage of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of or in the course of my participation in this event. This release and waiver extends to all claims of every kind or nature whatsoever, foreseen or unforeseen, known or unknown. I further grant full permission to the Ride for Burned Children, the University of Kansas Hospital, Burnett Burn Center and/or agents authorized by them to use my name, likeness, or voice, and photographs, videotapes, quotations, or any other record of me from this event for any purpose in accounts and promotions in any medium. This permission is perpetual and worldwide. Applications from minors will be accepted only with a parent’s or guardian’s signature. If the above Rider or Passenger is less than 18 years of age, I am the parent or legal guardian of the above individual and I agree to all the terms of this waiver, release and disclaimer as stated above.
